Fort Campbell Disarms Lady Rockets

The Lady Falcons won their largest shutout victory of the season, Sept. 27, at home against Crittenden County. The win for Fort Campbell (7-4-2) seemed inevitable against the Lady Rockets (0-12). However, the shutout was made sweeter since it coincided with the Lady Falcons' senior night and their first mercy rule of the season. The Lady Falcons scored with more than 31 minutes to go in the first half, followed minutes later by senior Brittney Ellis whose shot easily found its way to the goal unblocked.
