Read Across America Week March 2nd-6th (and Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!)

Dexter Elementary will be participating in Read Across America Week!  During this week we will have dress-up themes for each day.  The themes are as follows:

  • Monday, March 2nd - Hat Day!  Wear your coolest, most creative hat today, to honor "The Cat in the Hat!"
  • Tuesday, March 3rd - Character Day!  Dress as your favorite character from a story book!
  • Wednesday, March 4th - Animal Wear! Wear your wildest animal print clothing or clothes with animals on them, to honor "If I Ran The Zoo!"
  • Thursday, March 5th - Crazy Socks Day!   Wear your craziest, most colorful socks today to honor "Fox in Socks!"
  • Friday, March 6th - Pajama Day!   Wear your pajamas to school today, to honor the "Sleep Book!"

We Are in Need of Plastic Bottle Caps

Ms. C, our STEM teacher, is collecting plastic bottle caps for a project.  The caps can be any size or color.  Thank you!
