Ft. Benning Schools Redistricting Questionnaire

As many parents know, Ft. Benning is about to go through some redistricting.  We know you may have many questions regarding this matter.  If you would like to ask the Ft. Benning District Office a question, you can submit it through the Ft. Benning Schools Redistricting Questionnaire.

The District Office will make every effort to answer all of your questions and address your concerns. 

PTO Fundraisers

This November the PTO will be doing a couple different Fundraisers to help support Santa's Castle on Fort Benning.  The PTO will be collecting new books through out the month leading up to Thanksgiving Break to be donated.  The books can be for any gender and any age ranges.

On November 20, the PTO will be hosting the first ever TURKEY TROT!  This a mile long course around campus with competitive and non-competitive races.  All monies collected from participation will be donated to Santa's Castle.  The cost is $2 per person.  The PTO is hoping every student will participate as well as parents.  After finishing the students can enjoy music and purchase snacks from he AVID students prior to dismissal.  

Jeans Day | November 20, 2015

Wear your jeans for $1.  This month's jeans day money collected will help support the AVID program.

Winter Formal | January 29, 2016

Winter Formal will be on January 29, 2016.  The students will be voting on the theme this year!  The students will vote prior to Thanksgiving Break.  The PTO will announce the theme when the students return to school.  The two themes up for vote are Fire and Ice Ball or Masquerade Ball

Get your SMENCILS! | November 12-December 18, 2015

Looking for gifts for your students or teachers for the holidays?  Please consider SMENCILS!  Smencils are scented pencils that are made from 100% recycled newspapers. Each Smencil is a No.2 graphite pencil.  Smencils will be on sale every Thursday and Friday from November 12 to December 18, 2015.  They are $1 each and come in 10 awesome scents.  Scents include root beer, jelly donut, grade soda, and bubble gum.  If you want to purchase a bucket of Smencils, they are sold in buckets of 50 for $50 and come in a cute reusable plastic bucket.  All proceeds benefit Student Council sponsored activities for Faith students.

Goal 1

By June 2016, all students will improve their ability to use appropriate editing skills and will demonstrate knowledge of writing conventions through identifying and correcting errors in text. Improvements will be measured by Terra Nova 3rd Edition and school based assessments.

Goal 2

By June 2016, all students will improve their mathematical problem solving and reasoning skills, as measured by Terra Nova 3rd Edition and school based math assessments.

Goal 3

By June 2016, all students will improve their reading ability to evaluate and extend meaning in reading ,as measured by Terra Nova 3rd Edition and Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI).
