FCHS Student Activities

All students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities.  Any student who stays after school for a club or organizational meeting/function must have parental permission but will be allowed to ride the activity bus with a sponsor-approved activity bus pass.

Activity Bus

The Activity Bus currently runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  The bus arrives at the bus ramp at 3:40 PM and departs at 3:50 PM.

All students that meet KHSAA and FCHS Athletic Eligibility Rules may tryout at schedules tryouts.

Cheerleading (Freshman, Jr. Varsity and Varsity)


Cheerleading promotes school spirit and motivates the players and fans. A cheerleading team may compete outside of sporting events (local, regional, and national competitions), and cheer for sporting events and encourage audience participation.

Provides an opportunity for students interested in theater to participate in all aspects of play production. Students interested in performance, direction, design, technical support, backstage crafts, publicity, etc., are encouraged to join.

Must be enrolled in band class.

Far East Basketball


Boys basketball is an opportunity for an eligible boy to play basketball on the varsity level. The opportunity for personal growth and increased physical strength is available for the student who wishes to join.

The Marathon/Running Club encourages students to run/jog to improve their health. The club is sponsored by Christine Frost and meets in Rm. A-4.
