By the end of the school year, all students will improve their reading skills by utilizing vocabulary strategies that focus on context clues and vocabulary development across the curriculum. Progress will be measured through the use of standardized and local assessments.
By the end of the year, all students will increase proficiency in number sense in operations as measured by system wide and local assessments.

It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to notify the school every time a student is absent.
In keeping with this regulation, Irwin School will require parents to present picture identification to pick up students during the school day and or after the school day at schools serving through 5th grade.
