Carr has been named principal of McNair Elementary School, at Fort Bragg, in the North Carolina District.

“As a former Fort Bragg Schools’ student, teaching assistant, teacher, and assistant principal, Dr. Carr brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new role as McNair ES principal,” said Dr. Emily Marsh, Fort Bragg Community Superintendent. “Working with Dr. Carr, I have been impressed with her commitment to improving student achievement and her support of military families. Dr. Carr’s collaborative leadership style, curriculum knowledge, and strong work ethic will all benefit the McNair community and Fort Bragg Schools.”

Carr was educated in the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Winston-Salem State University, and has spent all of her DoDEA career at Fort Bragg.
