Annual Seasonal Influenza Vaccine
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires an annual seasonal influenza vaccine for students attending DoDEA Schools. The influenza vaccine has been added to the list of required immunizations for students attending DoDEA schools, following guidance and recommendations by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Department of Defense Joint Military Medical Services regulation on immunizations.
It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to notify the school every time a student is absent.
