School Advisory Committee (SAC) The School Advisory Committee, whose existence was established by Congress, is made up of eight elected members - four parents and four teachers. Additional liaison members, such as the administration and the military commander or his/her designee, also attend the meetings.
SAC meets monthly to discuss suggestions, issues, and problems and to make recommendations to the principal. All parents and teachers are encouraged to attend our meetings. Our SAC meetings are usually held the 4th Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. Call the school office to confirm time and place.
The Installation Advisory Committee (IAC) is composed of a parent and an educator from each Wiesbaden community school who serves on the local SAC. The IAC meets four times a year to consider suggestions, issues, and problems common to all schools in the Wiesbaden MILCOM.
The Wiesbaden MS PTSO is a nonprofit volunteer organization in which parents, teachers, and students work together as a team to create the best possible learning environment for our children.
Formed in 2006, we wanted to create positive communication and partnership between families and the school, for the benefit of the students. Also, we wanted to promote family involvement in a variety of ways (i.e. ideas, volunteering, fund raisers, etc.).
The meetings are generally held the second Tuesday of every month at 3:00pm in the PTSO Room (WMS room 159). We also have 4 General Membership meetings each school year. How can I become involved?
You will find a PTSO Membership form in the Student Affairs Office.
Please contact the school office for our PTSO contact if you are interested in joining the PTSO, the board, or simply want to learn more about what is involved in becoming a board member.
