A Message from our Superintendent

Dear Parents, Teachers and Community,

Most people aboard MCAS Iwakuni are aware that the custodial contract for cleaning across the installation has lapsed.  DoDEA District and school officials were notified Friday morning tha the MCAS Iwakuni Procurement Office anticipates the lapse may extend until 30 November.  However, every effort is being made to ensure some of our most crucial cleaning requirements are sustained throughout this period, such as the cleanliness of the cafeteria and restrooms.  We are working closely with the installation, and we appreciate their commitment to finding a quick resolution to this MCAS Iwakuni issue affecting the entire installation.

Our educators and staff will closely monitor facilities and inform our principals immediately should they see anything that may potentially exceed the threshold of commoncleanliness.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Iwakuni teachers, administrators and students who are collaborating and seeking solutions in an effort to mitigate the impact on school operations You commitment and efforts are recognized and appreciated.

I apologize for any incovenience this may present our students and staff.  We will continue to provide you new information when it is made available.

Very Respectfully,

Steven R. Bloom, Ph.D.

My Payments Plus Accounts

Our system has been down and not communicating properly for the month of October. We are currently in the process of adjusting all the student's accounts and should be up to date by the end of next week. This affected the School lunch Accounts and My payments plus.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact me if you all have any questions.

Very Respectfully,

Cassandra D Fujimoto
