Either parents or teachers can request parent-teacher conferences. Teachers conduct conferences at the end of the first and third quarters. These conferences are designed to inform parents of progress of the student and/or potential problems. Parents are encouraged to maintain contact with the child’s teacher throughout the school year.
Report cards are issued quarterly. At the end of the first quarter, we will schedule all parents for conferences. At the end of the third quarter, teachers will hold conferences with parents of students with specific concerns. These parents will be notified. Two-way communication, continuously, between school and parents is a key ingredient in fostering a successful learning experience for each child. Parent-teacher conferences are encouraged throughout the school year on an as-needed basis. Parents desiring an appointment with their child’s teacher should call 754-9308 or 754-9309 and make an appointment or send a note directly to the teacher with their child.
