The DoDEA Pacific Public Affairs Office initiates and manages DoDEA's communications and outreach efforts for the Pacific to include Guam, Japan, Okinawa, South Korea. The office is responsible for media relations, internal information programs and communication with students, parents, teachers, school administrators and the public.

Visit from Okinawa International School

On Tuesday 29 November, Kinser Elementary School hosted 55 students and 10 teachers, including the headmaster, from Okinawa International School. The visit began at 10:00 AM when the students arrived and were greeted by Ms. Moore-Robinson. Kinser students then escorted the international school students to classrooms while the OIS faculty enjoyed breakfast and a Kinser orientation given by Ms. Moore-Robinson. Following the morning lessons, the OIS students joined their Kinser hosts for lunch and recess, returning briefly to classrooms before boarding their buses at 12:30.
