The Department of Defense Participates in the National School Lunch Program. This program is a federally subsidized program and your dependents may be eligible to receive free or reduced priced meals. Your children may qualify for free or reduced price meals if your household income falls at or below the limits on the chart below (Note: Housing Allowances and COLA is NOT considered income in overseas areas).
All parents need to apply/re-apply each school year for the Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program.

Regrettably, it is not possible at this time to make purchases using the pre-paid option (e.g. K12paymentcenter formerly known as Lunchprepay) or through the Free and Reduced Price School Meals Program.
You can apply at the Free & Reduced Lunch Program Office located in bldg 99, Kadena Air Base (Behind Dunkin Donuts) or you can submit electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org.

The National School Lunch Program is offered to Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) students from families whose income meets eligibility criteria. Eligible students receive free and/or reduced price meals at the school cafeteria of their respective school.
