ACADEMIC

The Virtual High School Counseling Program supports a career awareness domain. Through webcasts and webinar sessions, students enrolled in the Virtual High School have access to college representatives and military recruiters on a regular basis who provide information about college, work, and military opportunities. The content standards under this domain include:

Standard D
Students will acquire the self-knowledge necessary to make informed career decisions.

Standard E
Students will understand the relationship between educational achievement and career development.

Standard F
Students will employ career management strategies to achieve future career success and satisfaction.
