Due to the number of students we have with nut allergies this year Barkley ES needs to be nut free. For some of these students exposure to even the smell of peanut butter can be life threatening. We realize e that this may create a challenge for some of you because it limits the choices you can send with your child as their snack or lunch. We ask that you please understand and help us adhere to this policy throughout the school. Please check labels when you are making selection to be brought to school. Please ensure that your choice not only does not have nuts but also that it was not produced in an area that also processes nuts.
