Beginning with the 2001-2002 academic year, the classification of DoDDS students is:

  • Freshman Class (9th Grade):
    Beginning with the 2001-2002 academic year, a student must have met the requirements for completion of Grade 8, or must have been previously enrolled in Grade 9.

  • Sophomore Class (10th Grade):
    Beginning with the 2002-2003 academic year, a student must have earned a minimum of 6 units of credit in preparation for graduation. The student must meet the criteria for normal sequencing of coursework in preparation for graduation.

  • Junior Class (11th Grade):
    Beginning with the 2002-2003 academic year, a student must have earned a minimum of 12 units of credit. The student must meet the criteria for normal sequencing of coursework in preparation for graduation.

  • Senior Class (12th Grade):
    Beginning with the 2002-2003 academic year, a student must have earned a minimum of 18 units of credit. The student must meet the criteria for normal sequencing of coursework in preparation for graduation

  • Graduation from High School:
    Beginning with the 2001-2002 academic year, a student must have earned 24 units of credit as required by DoDEA Regulation 2000.1.
