National School Counseling Week, Feb. 6-10, 2012

Schools throughout the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) will celebrate National School Counseling Week, Feb. 6-10, 2012. National School Counseling Week is sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. This year's theme is "School Counselors: Helping Students Be Brilliant."

Angela Wilson, the 2012 Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Teacher of the Year, was selected today by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) as one of the four finalists for the 2012 National Teacher of the Year.
