Professional development that meets the needs of educators

The DoDEA Professional Development Branch assists area offices, offices of the district superintendents, schools and headquarters personnel with professional development that meets the needs of educators. Professional development is intended to provide on-going job related skills that enhance, remediate or fine tune job required competencies that are correlated to student achievement. The Professional Development personnel serve as facilitators for strategic meetings and provide curriculum pre-implementation/implementation assistance. The Professional Development Branch also coordinates the educator recognition programs.
