The
Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), in partnership
with parents and the community, prepares students to make wise decisions
on matters concerning personal, family and community health by providing
comprehensive school health education to students in grades pre-kindergarten
through 12. The DoDEA Health Education
Performance Standards, developed in accordance with the DoDEA
six-year curriculum development and assessment adoption cycle,
serves as the framework of the health education curriculum.
