| Explain | In your own words, describe the material used for which structure and the purpose of that structure. |
| Elaborate | Have students make up their own blood composition to be put through their model. The blood must be able to enter the artery and exit the vein. This will show how much more pressure must be exerted in the arteries than the vein. |
| Evaluation | Students must go back and analyze if their model worked or didn't work as a vein and artery and tell why. Assessment of their models construction and the label/identifying for evaluation, also. |
