Each day is organized around a strategic theme: Monday: Team Learning Tuesday: Powerful Learning Environments Wednesday: Determining Current Reality Thursday: Implementation Friday: Planning and Evaluating Professional Development Initiatives We believe technology should be a tool to support learning rather than the focus of instruction. Therefore, technology training is embedded into the week as appropriate. We include exploration of the following tools: Inspiration software, eGroups, PowerPoint, Blackboard.com and track changes features in Word. Additional technical training is offered in evening sessions during the summer institutes. |
