The DoDEA Communications Office initiates and manages DoDEA's communications and outreach efforts worldwide. The office coordinates press relations, internal information programs and communication with students, parents, teachers, school administrators and the public.

Smith Named Dexter Elementary School Principal

Ms. Edwina Smith has been named principal of Dexter Elementary School, at Fort Benning, in the Georgia/Alabama District. She came to the Georgia/Alabama District as an assistant principal at Faith Middle School in 2013.

Student Selected to Study Arabic Abroad

Lillie Sullivan, a high school student in APO, AE, has been awarded a National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship for 2014-2015. Lillie will study Arabic in Morocco for the Summer.
