The DoDEA Communications Office initiates and manages DoDEA's communications and outreach efforts worldwide. The office coordinates press relations, internal information programs and communication with students, parents, teachers, school administrators and the public.

Thomas M. Brady, Director, Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), announced today the selection of Dr. Linda L. Curtis, current Area Director of DoDEA Pacific Schools, as the new DoDEA Principal Deputy Director and Associate Director of Academics. Brady named Dr. Gael Coyle, current Pacific Deputy Director for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, as Acting Area Director of DoDEA Pacific Schools.

Dr. Emily Marsh named as DoDEA Americas Acting Director

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) named Dr. Emily Kyser Marsh to a temporary appointment effective July 31 as the Acting Director for DoDEA operations in the Americas. Dr. Marsh will replace Dr. Elizabeth Middlemiss, who has been serving as Interim Director for DoDEA operations in the Americas since October 2012.
