Vicenza MS Student Proceeds to Semifinals in the National Spelling Bee!
Anuk Dayaprema, an 8th grade student from Vicenza Middle School and the Europe PTA/DoDDS representative to the Scripts Belling Bee is among 42 semi- finalists who will compete in the next level of the completion today in Washington. KDHS grad shares ROTC experience with high school cadets
Kadena High School alumnus Tyler Nicholson’s ROTC scholarship at the University of Texas at San Antonio to pay student $500 dollars a month to eliminate college debt. On January 7th, Nicholson, a 2009 graduate who was also enrolled in the KDHS JROTC program while he was in high school, returned to talk about his college experience to current JROTC students.

DoDDS-Europe announces security breach in Kaiserslautern District schools
In late-October, DoDDS-Europe became aware of the theft of computer memory devices that may have included personal information related to students and sponsors from School Years 2002-03 through this school year. The devices were stolen after normal duty hours from the car of a DoDEA employee which was parked in a locked garage.
