Affirmative Employment
The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office manages DODEA-wide affirmative employment programs for minorities, women and people with disabilities. The EEO Office develops policies, procedures and guidance for implementing EEO related statutes, Executive Orders, regulations, and management directives. The office also prepares and submits affirmative employment plans and accomplishment reports for minorities and women, people with disabilities, and disabled veterans to appropriate oversight agencies, and provides guidance and technical assistance to bureaus for conducting affirmative employment programs. The EEO Office monitors, reviews, and oversees compliance with program requirements.
