STEP 3: Finding Assistance in Pursuing an Opportunity
Third, a business that is new to government contracting in general or to DoDEA's contracting process may find it prudent to obtain assistance. DoDEA's Office of Small Business Programs is the advocate for small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, historically black colleges and universities and minority institutions, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones) firms, and firms owned by service-disabled veterans. Their Mission is to provide guidance and technical assistance to advance the growth and development of small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and all of the other firms and entities of interest.
