Pursuant to an October 1, 2009 Memorandum from Shay Assad, Director, Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy (the "DPAP Memo"), DoDEA hereby announces that Robert Blewis has been appointed the Department of Defense Education Activity's ("DoDEA") Ombudsman for Procurement Integrity. As DoDEA's Ombudsman for Procurement Integrity, Mr. Blewis is to "provide a neutral, informal, confidential and independent alternative for employees, managers and customers to seek assistance in resolving procurement integrity issues."
