DoDEA High School Graduation Requirements

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is committed to academic excellence. To ensure students in the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) continue to have access to a quality educational program, the requirements for high school graduation have been increased.

DoDEA Regulation 2000.1 became effective August 1997. The class of 2002 will be the first students to graduate under these new requirements.

The required credits for science, mathematics, and computer technology have been increased.

Two years of the same second (foreign) language are now required.

Eighth grade students enrolled in some high school level courses may receive credits toward graduation.
