Alconbury Elementary School is an outstanding school for students to grow and prosper in a safe environment. I want to extend a special welcome to those of you who recently joined us since January 2020. It is our goal to help your child grow through this period of their lives to become healthy, whole, caring people with positive growth mindsets. Educating your child is a rewarding and important assignment for us. We are delighted to be in partnership with you to help maximize your child's potential.
The AES school community believes that students are at the heart of all we do. We have a shared understanding and responsibility to ensure that all students reach their fullest potential. The practice that has the greatest impact is our student-focused collaboration. Teacher collaboration synthesizes our school wide efforts to create and maintain a learning environment that is student-centered, stimulating and relevant. The strength of our collaboration time is that it is purposefully designed for consistency, revolves around student work, and focuses on enhancing lesson planning and instruction.
Our partnership with you is vital, so become an active member of SAC, PTA, Mentor Club, or one of our numerous other volunteer opportunities . We believe that the partnership between you and our dedicated staff will allow your child to receive the best education possible. Together with your enthusiasm, support, and involvement combined with our staff's ability to teach what your child needs to learn and grow will inspire everyone to work to their highest potential. Together we will achieve great things!
