Lady Falcons hope to rebuild team with new talent

Fort Campbell's Lady Falcons had an unimpressive volleyball season in 2012 that ended with a 5-14-0 record. This year, armed with a new coach and a roster full of strong talent, the team is determined to make the season one of wins and hopefully one of championships.
"Last year started off just really unorganized," said senior Emily Horkey. "I think [we're] a little bit better in that aspect this year.
" Winning is familiar territory for incoming coach Melyssa Moulder. The former Lady Falcon was part of the 2000-2004 volleyball program, winning districts and several tournaments during her time as a player.
"We were a winning team, when I was here," said Moulder. "I know what the winning recipe should be – we just have to stir the pot together." Moulder plans on strengthening the foundation of her team by providing them with stability.
