Student Activities

All students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities whether they be athletic, academic or social in nature. These activities help to shape students and prepare them for the future as part of a well rounded education.

School clubs are a great way to develop new interests and to make new friends. Students can select these activities based on their interests. Several teachers are the sponsors and coordinate the programs with parents, students, and community volunteers. We provide the following clubs/activities:


PRIDE Club

Eligibility: 3rd - 5th grade students who have approval of their homeroom teacher for showing positive leadership skills and are in good academic standing

Description: At Ansbach Elementary School, our PRIDE Leadership Club offers all students an opportunity to develop positive civic responsibility through participation in leadership and community building events. Eligibility is based on PRIDE characteristics and students must complete an application. The principal and club advisor has authority over membership and we encourage all students interested to participate.

Meeting Time: First and third Wednesday of each month from 1500-1545.


Chess Club

Eligibility: All students with an interest in chess

Description: Students learn the game of chess

Lego Club

Eligibility: 3rd and 4th Grade Students

Description: Introduction to STEM activities through legos

Meeting Time: Every Thursday from 1500-1545


Robotics Club

Eligibility: 4th and 5th Grade Students

Description: Students explore engineering by design and programming

Battle of the Books Club

Eligibility: 3rd - 5th Grade Students

Description: Students read books and participate in reading comprehension competitions
