Student Support Team (SST)

The SST committee helps teachers generate additional strategies for working with a student and/or gathers information needed to make a referral to the Case Study Committee (CSC) for possible evaluation for Special Education. Referral forms for the SST committee are available from the chairperson and include samples of the student's work. Parents are to be notified by the classroom teacher that their child is being referred to the SST committee to seek further help to improve academic performance and/or behavior.

Child Find

The purpose of Child Find is to identify children in the community, age 3-21, who may have a disabling condition - physical, intellectual, or emotional. Referrals can be made to the school office or the Child Study Committee (CSC) at DSN: 337-6260 or Civilian: 0611-705-6260
