AVID: Assessments

Embedded within the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) College and Career Readiness Framework, curriculum, and the AVID Elective Course are proven research-based instructional strategies that support student mastery of college entry exams. The AVID Elective Course also provides students with opportunities to strengthen their test taking skills, enhance their analytical/critical thinking skills, and elevate their confidence levels to persist on college entry exams via timed, practice tests like the PSAT, SAT, and ACT.
