ARA101: Art 6-8 A (2017)

Art 6-8 A is a visual arts course for students in Grades 6-8 in which fundamentals of art will be experienced in a nine-week 'wheel' course. The visual arts program is aligned to DoDEA Visual Arts Standards and provides opportunities for a variety of experiences such as drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media that can be used throughout life for communication, expression, and enjoyment. Students will be introduced to beginning concepts of the elements and principles of design and will build on art concepts introduced in elementary school, as the DoDEA visual arts standards are vertically aligned.
