ARAE03: Art 5 AB (2020)

Art 5AB (year-long) is designed so that fifth grade students experience the fundamentals of art. The elementary visual arts program is aligned to DoDEA College and Career Ready Standards Arts, CCRSA (National Core Arts Standards, NCAS) and provides opportunities for a variety of experiences such as drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media that lead to the development of artistically literate adults. Fifth graders will be introduced to concepts of the elements and principles of design and will build on art skills and concepts introduced in Kindergarten through fourth grade, as the DoDEA visual arts standards are vertically aligned.
