ARK401: Printmaking (2019)

The Printmaking (year-long) course-áaligned to DoDEA College and Career Ready Standards Arts, CCRSA (National Common Core Arts Standards, NCAS), is designed to offer students the opportunity to apply the fundamentals of art to various printmaking processes including relief (linoleum and woodcuts), stencil (paper and silkscreen, lithography, intaglio (etching and engraving), and calligraphic printing. The Fundamentals of Art course is suggested preparation for this course. Students gain knowledge of the materials and equipment that are unique to printmaking. -á

Course Note: This course satisfies the Fine Arts (1 credit) graduation requirement. Repeatable Course - Subsequent Enrollment Requires More Rigor.
