The Language Arts 12 (year-long) course is aligned to College and Career Ready Standards and designed as the final preparation for college and career readiness. Students continue to read a variety of practical and traditional literature critically-á with a focus on-á British Literature, including analyzing how multiple themes/ideas develop and interact in a text, as well as exploring the author's craft and impact of author's choices on the development of a text. As writers, students will continue to extend their development of narrative, informational and argumentative writing forms. -áStudents will continue to develop investigative and research skills in preparation for post-secondary education or employment. -áStudents will respond thoughtfully to diverse perspectives, make informed decisions, and critically interpret media. -á
