The AP English Literature and Composition course is designed to align with an introductory college-level literary analysis curriculum. -áThe course engages students in close reading and critical analysis of literature to understand the choices writers make to impact reading for meaning and pleasure. -áWhile students engage in reading they will consider the structure of the work, the style, and themes, as well as the use of symbolism, imagery, figurative language and tone. -áStudents will interpret and analyze literary works in expository, analytical, and argumentative essays. -á
