December 21, 2020 The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened the awareness and importance for social and emotional learning/support needed for students in our schools today. DoDEA educators are helping students explore and build the social skills that are needed in today’s socially distanced world.

DeLalio Elementary School is committed to providing student-centered learning opportunities where individual needs are met in a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages collaboration and creativity as students think critically about the world around them.

School Improvement Goals

Math:  All DeLalio Elementary students will become proficient in application and fluency of grade level College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics.

Literacy:  DeLalio Elementary -
* will increase the percentage of students proficient in reading by the end of the 2nd grade by 5% as measured by the Reading Proficiency tool.
* 3rd to 5th grade students will demonstrate 60% proficiency as measured by the DoDEA Comprehensive Assessment System in the area of Reading for Information Anchor Standards.
