Devers Elementary School is located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and operates under the direction of Dr. Kim McBroom, Principal.
Students who are enrolled at Devers Elementary School are dependents of military personnel at Fort Bragg, and the school is funded by the Department of Defense. Devers Elementary is one of eight schools in the DoDEA Mid-Atlantic District at Fort Bragg. The DoDEA Mid-Atlantic District is under the direction of Dr. Emily Marsh, Superintendent and follows the directives, curricula, and guidelines from the umbrella organization of DoDEA (Department of Defense Education Activity).
Students at Devers are in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Our school is named in honor of General Jacob L. Devers (September 8, 1887 - October 15, 1979). General Devers is best remembered for his command of the Sixth Army Group in Europe during World War II. Devers was a highly competent and consummate professional in an exemplary career that spanned more than thirty-five years.
