By May 2019, all students in grades K-5 will increase their achievement in Reading Comprehension as measured by the EOY Scholastic Reading Inventory and/or Benchmark Assessment System.
All students in grades 3-5 will increase their achievement in Mathematics on the CCRS Summative Assessment from 50% in SY 17-18 in Performance Levels 4 and 5 to 60% in SY 19-20.
NED's Mindset Mission is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.
Dexter will have a virtual NED's Mindset Mission Show on November 19th.

The USDA has approved ALL kids ages 0-18 to get free meals through June 30, 2021! We will provide more information soon by memorandum placed in the Student Meals Program page of our school's website regarding how we will provide meals on non-holiday weekdays (teacher training days, etc.), and when your school will stop meals distribution this year.
Please continue to submit your meal applications! The free or reduced meal status for the 2020-21 school year will carry over through the first 30 days of the 2021-22 school year. If necessary, contact your installation's Child Nutrition Director for more information. Stay Safe!

Red Ribbon Week is almost here! Join us during the week of October 26-30 as Dexter students participate in a Red Ribbon Spirit Week! Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and drug awareness campaign which occurs annually in October. During this week, Dexter students may dress up according to the following themes:
Monday, October 26, 2020- "Drug Free is the Way to Be" (Wear as much RED clothing/accessories as you can)
Tuesday, October 27, 2020- “Drugs are Tacky" (Wear tacky attire from head to toe)
Wednesday, October 28, 2020- "Follow Your Dreams and Be Drug Free" (Wear your favorite pajamas)
No School -Thursday, October 29, 2020- “Give Drugs the Boot" (Students, continue the RRW spirit week by wearing your favorite pair of boots AT HOME.)
No School- Friday, October 30, 2020- “Team Up Against Drugs" (Students, end the RRW spirit week by wearing your favorite team shirt and/or hat AT HOME.)
