Age Requirements

  • PRE-KDG ………….. Must be four (4) on or before September 1, 2020
  • KDG …………….……Must be five (5) on or before September 1, 2020
  • 1st Grade …………… Must be six (6) on or before September 1, 2020

Documentation Required for New Registration

  • Certified birth certificate (original)
  • Current Orders of Sponsor
  • Immunizations/Shot Records
  • Housing Lease Agreement or letter from housing verifying family is on waiting list
  • Spouse’s ID Card

A copy of these documents will be kept on file for student eligibility.

DoDEA Shifts School Openings Dates in Southeast District

July 13, 2020 The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Director has approved the shifting of school openings for the DoDEA Southeast District schools in close coordination with installation commanders, the local senior military leadership, and DoDEA Southeast District and DoDEA Americas Regional leadership.
Fort Benning Schools offering FREE Breakfast and Lunch

Fort Benning Schools will be offering FREE breakfast and lunch meals for ALL children ages 0-18 during the school closure.  Beginning Monday March 23, 2020 the Fort Benning School Meals Program will offer FREE Grab-and-Go breakfast and lunch meals to ALL children ages 0-18 for as long as the school closure continues. This program will be solely for the pick-up of meals; no meals will be consumed at the school. Children do not have to be Fort Benning students to participate.

All meals will be offered Monday –Friday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Lunch for one day and breakfast for the next day will be distributed at the same time. Please note that meals will be served every day, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays until schools re-open, regardless of the school calendar “off” dates, such as spring break or teacher training days.

At this time, children must be present to receive meals.

Literacy Goal

By May 2019, all students in grades K-5 will increase their achievement in Reading Comprehension as measured by the EOY Scholastic Reading Inventory and/or Benchmark Assessment System.

Math Goal

All students in grades 3-5 will increase their achievement in Mathematics on the CCRS Summative Assessment from 50% in SY 17-18 in Performance Levels 4 and 5 to 60% in SY 19-20.
