Dexter ES: Activities

Students will have the opportunity to learn more about music and practice their singing skills.

Meeting Time: 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Meeting Days: Tuesday,Thursday

Open To: 3-5

In Reading Club students will hear stories being read aloud, will read independently, and participate in book discussions and reading strategies.

Meeting Time: 3:30-4:15

Meeting Days: Wednesday

Open To: K-2

Do you enjoy exercising?  If so, join us for the Fitness Club!  We will have fun while working out and strengthening our fitness goals.  Fitness Club is open to all students in grades 3rd-5th.  Our meetings will take place on Mondays beginning at 3:30 and ending at 4:15.

Open To: Grades 3-5

Students in 4th and 5th Grade will discuss issues around the school and help address problems and concerns. \

Meeting Time: 3:45-4:15

Meeting Days: Wednesday

Open To: Students will be elected by their peers to representative positions.

Students will help with the morning Broadcast.  WDEX crew members will be responsible for setting up and running AV equipment through the school's CCTV system when in the building.

Meeting Time: 8:30-8:50

Open To: 5th Grade for production crew
Anchors: chosen weekly from classrooms
