The Rocket Club, established by our founder Jack Kelley, consists of Quantico Middle High School's most elite science enthusiasts. Comprised of twelve members, the Rocket Club has had a couple meetings at lunch where members were designated different tasks in dealing with building the rockets. The members have been diligently building the rockets in their spare time, including after-school and even at home. The Rocket Club built a total of three reusable rockets.

On Sunday, April 17, the Rocket Club put its work into action. On a large field nearby Mountain View High School, the Rocket Club set up for three launches. Each launch was successful and only cost about $13, so they were very cost-effective. The rockets reached an altitude of about 1000-2000 feet. There was a launch team, a photography team, and a recovery team, including running after the rockets.

The Rocket Club launches were such a success that it hopes to have more in the future. It plans to buy more rockets and even launch one at the STEMposium. So, if you enjoy rockets or just having fun, come join the Rocket Club. Anyone is free to join!
