April is National Autism Awareness Month. National Autism Awareness Month represents an excellent opportunity to promote autism awareness, autism acceptance and to draw attention to the tens of thousands facing an autism diagnosis each year. The purpose of the month is to ensure people with Autism are provided the opportunity to achieve the highest possible quality of life. On Friday, April 6th at 1:30 , Heroes Elementary demonstrated their support with an Autism walk. Staff, students, friends, and families all walked around the school wearing blue, the color to show support for Autism Awareness.
