Cars Under the Stars was a success with about 30-40 attendees.

Planned to be outside; due to weather conditions it was moved into the FKHS gym. Students and families enjoyed watching The Corpse Bride, watching or participating in the costume contest, and testing their luck in our raffle (with prizes provided by our partner and PTO).

Costume contest Judge, SSG Ingram (National Guard), awarded:

1st place to The Plague Doctor (Aislynn Nisbet, FKHS Student)

2nd place to The Red Zombie Warrior (Thomas Davis, Family Member of Student)

3rd place The Cheshire Cat (Alexis Munden, FKHS Student)

Our raffle awarded the following attendees:

Halloween Basket- Luis Otero

Art Easel and 101 Piece Set- Bella LaFlame

Art Supplies Basket- Malia Baker

Several people need to be recognized for supporting the event:

Ms. Rodriguez, our PTO President. Our wonderful PTO donated an easel art set and art themed gift basket for our raffle.

Ms. Brenda Weatherington, our School's Liason Officer for donating backpacks with supplies and t-shirts for our costume contestant goody bags.

CPT Mark Fox for donating a Halloween-themed gift basket (for our raffle) on behalf of our school's partner unit. SSG Amber Ingram for donating her time to judge the costume contest.

Also a thank you to the National Guard for donating the first, second, and third place prizes for our costume contest.

Kona Ice for coming on out and bringing us some delicious shaved ice AND hot chocolate!

And the following staff:

Dr. Vargas (our amazing yearbook sponsor) for bringing her yearbook crew and helping us out. FKHS art club members. You all rock! Our volunteers helped us out and managed their tables very well. Behind the scenes... we need to send out a BIG thank you to Mike Johnson, Brett Jackson, Shanon Johnson, Mr. Christian, and Mr. Dominguez for signing off on this endeavor.
