In the early morning on Wednesday, October 23rd, Dexter students participated in a “Unite Against Bullying” Family Fun Run.  Dexter students, parents and teachers ran laps around the Dexter track and wore orange clothes and orange bracelets to show solidarity against bullying.  This year October 23rd was designated as “Unity Day” by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.  The color orange was selected by the National Bullying Prevention Center to a send message of hope and support in the fight against bullying.  Dexter Elementary would like to thank all the parents, students and teachers who participated in this year’s “Unity Day!”
