GRAMMY nominated musician Zak Morgan entertained the students and staff at Hampton Primary School on Monday, January 22, 2018.  Through the use of musical story telling, Zak Morgan encourages students to learn through reading skills, facts included in the songs, imagination, and believing in themselves. Students are invited to use their voices and body movements to sing along while Zak sings and plays guitar.

One favorite song introduced us to Zak's puppet, Marty the Bullfrog, who taught us how to use "TIODNACI" to never give up.  Marty wasn't able to croak properly and sounded more like a donkey. Marty wanted to give up and stop trying.  Zak and our students encouraged Marty to perservere, never give up, and to keep trying his best by learning to say "I Can Do It".  You can find out more about Zak Morgan by visiting http://www.zakmorgan.com/

The Hampton PTA supported this program through the Artists in Schools Program offered by the Arts Council of Fayetteville and Cumberland County.
