Carrying On the Military Tradition

Fourteen percent of the Lejeune High School senior class have either enlisted in a branch of the U.S. military, received ROTC scholarships or service academy appointments to serve in the U.S. Military.

The following students have enlisted in the United States military.

  • Austin Bullock, son of USMC Gunnery Sgt. Scott and Mary "Alisa" Bullock, enlisted in the United States Army on April 11, 2016.
  • Stephen Cosby, son of USMC Lt. Col. Stephen Cosby and Marva Cosby, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on March 9, 2016.
  • Eric Collins, son of USMC Chief Warrant Officer-2 Samuel and Jamie Collins, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on December 21, 2015.
  • Shane Gordon, son of USMC Col. Thomas and Candace Gordon, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on May 3, 2016.
  • Madeline Kreamer, daughter of USMC Sgt. Maj. Howard and Melanie Kreamer, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on December 7, 2015.
  • Gunner Parsons, son of USMC Sgt. Maj. Edward and Christina Parsons, enlisted in the United States Army on March 3, 2016. (no photo)
  • Giovanni Traversi-Adams, son of USMC Master Sgt. Robert and Alissa Kaufmann, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on February 19, 2016.

These seven, along with the five who will attend college on ROTC scholarships and the one who received a military academy appointment, comprise 14 percent of the LHS Class of 2016.
