During the month of March, Dexter students participated in a fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.  Efforts to raise money for the organization were led by Dexter's Griffin Club.

Students raised money by collecting loose change in boxes.  Ms. M's 4th Grade class raised the most money, and as a result, Dexter was recognized by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with a Bronze Champions Award.  Dexter PTO also recognized Ms. M's 4th Grade with an ice cream party.

Dexter Elementary would like to thank all of the parents and students who helped donate to this charitable organization.
