The 2nd grade students in Ms. Hunnicutt's class have been learning about life cycles in science. They were delivered chick eggs and were placed in an incubator in the classroom. After 28 days, the chicks finally started to peck their way out of the shells. The students recorded and observed the eggs and chicks daily. When they hatched, they were able to hold them. A few days later, the chicks were sent back to the farm to live out their life. Watch a featured segment about the chicks on Eagle Eye News here.
