FKHS Swim Team breaks Six-Year Old Record

Last week the Fort Knox High School Eagles boys' and girls' swim team competed against North Hardin, Central Hardin and Meade County high schools in their first home meet of the season at Fort Knox's Gammon pool.
During the swim meet seniors Christian Acevedo, Juan Acevedo, Luis Sartor and Daniela Martinez were all recognized for all of their hard work and achievements in and out of swimming.
The boys' team placed second out of five teams with many first place finishes, and a school record was broken. The relay team of Christian, Juan, Jarrod Reiter and Noah Kopp placed first in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3 minutes, 45.12 seconds. In the 200-yard medley relay they broke a six-year-old school record with a time of 1:50.94.
