4th graders have been studying the environmental factors that mealworms, isopods, and fish need to grow and survive. Environmental factors are all the things like water, food, air, shelter, and light that are in our world around us. They've also been observing mealworms as they go through their life cycle and grow from a larva into darkling beetle.
